"I started playing bass for Frank Purslow's 'Bampton Barn Dance Band' in the 1980's after a chance meeting with their fiddle player. Since moving to Devon in 1993, I've been very pleased to have played bass for several bands of various styles but am always kept busiest by SheerHopody. It's such a pleasure playing music for dancing, and a good English ceilidh really is such fun.
I also help to run Hollocombe Music Club - organising their events, as well as giving them the benefit of SheerHopody's top quality sound system. I have a strong interest (and background in) high quality audio electronics, which comes in handy when choosing the best equipment for the band.
At home, I'm a keen organic gardener and conservationist, and support and promote 'Fair Trade' whenever I can - always looking for the ethical, yet affordable, way to live."
Playing bass for Sheer Hopody since its inception in 1995, Trevor also looks after the sound and the administration.
