We just wanted to thank you for your contribution to Ben and Helen's wedding on Saturday. Everyone has commented on the expert calling, mix of dances and sheer enjoyment you provided. The couple who played for the ceremony were also great.

The full 6-piece SheerHopody Barn Dance Band played to eager dancers in the evening, after Colin Wilson and Helen Brayley had provided music on Guitar and Flute both during the ceremony and again in the afternoon.

I wanted to thank you for providing a wonderful evening for us for my 50th birthday in Bishopsteignton on the 3rd October. We really enjoyed your music and the dances were different to what we are used to, which made it more interesting and fun. l thought the caller was great.

My Mum said afterward that she can't remember enjoying a weekend so much for a long time, and you have made a convert to country dancing of my neice Eloise. I have passed your details on to a couple of friends who have events coming up.

A belated note to say how delighted we were with Sheer Hopody on the 20th. Martin was a wonderful caller with just the right light touch. Many thanks for providing our team with a great evening on Thursday, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and all the people who didn't attend were regretting their decision on Friday when everyone was saying what a great time they had.

I have arranged a number of these summer events and have never seen quite so many people on the dance floor - and enthusiastic about doing so ...especially my dance partner (The Boss!!) who normally never ventures on! I believe this is a credit to all your band for great music and the wonderful enthusiasm and patience from the caller!!

Delia and I have just got back from our honeymoon and would both like to say a big thank you to the band. We were both very nervous about the big day but we enjoyed it more than we could have hoped. A lot of our friends come from around the country and many of them didn't know each other but they all joined in and the next day we received numerous compliments about the band.
